We are Circa’95

 

Circa’95 is an independent Afro-Latino Hip-Hop music group.

Circa’95 Athletics is all about running culture.

Hailing from New York City with roots in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, Patty Dukes and Reph. From the Bronx and Washington Heights, rhyme seamlessly through English and Spanish.  Former artists in Residence at Carnegie Hall and members of the Artist Advisory Board for The Bronx Music Center. They have been featured on HBO Latino shows, including “Road Trip” and “Habla Ya.” Circa’95 has performed all over the world, including Carnegie Hall, SXSW, Arts & Ideas Festival, and the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.

Patty Dukes & Reph are members of WRUCREW an uptown running crew. They have been running for over 13 years. Reph has run 17 marathons, and Patty has run 8. They have run 5ks, 10ks, and Half Marathons all over the country. Founders and Coaches of TRACK FOR THE PEOPLE, a weekly track training session for the running community. Held at the Nike Armory Track and Field Center during the fall/winter months and at Riverbank State Park Outdoor Track during the spring/summer months.
